We have not fallen off the face of the Earth. We have been so busy! This last week we have had sick kiddos- we have had trips to the dr and e.r., trying to get them well after having RSV is a feat in and of itself. Their coughs and fevers are still lingering, but they are so much better.
J was away at a conference for school 4 days this week. He is an EAST (Environment And Spacial Technology) Fascilitator at the High School he works at. His group of kids received top honors for their project, so we are very proud. While he was gone, I of course was nursing the kids back to health, and instead of blogging at night after I put them to bed, I went to bed myself. It was nice getting an extra hour or two of sleep....and it was much needed!
The house is moving along. Our hope for moving in is the last week of March, or Spring Break for us! When I think of all that we still have to accomplish, there is little hope for that move-in date. The guys are still tiling. They are finishing up brick tile in the 3/4 bathroom and beginning tile on the master bath floor and around the tub.
My Dad is trying to finish up painting the exterior doors.

All of our cabinetry was delivered yesterday and is ready and waiting in the garage. Mark will be there tomorrow to begin spraying laquer and doing the ten thousand steps it takes to get them ready for installation day!

I could make out a few pieces, like the island. And I think this is for the double wall ovens, but I'm not sure.

The kids' bathroom vanity was delivered Friday, and this time it was all in one piece, not damaged, and it was stunning! We also had the guy that did our dirt work come over Friday and take a look at what we needed done before the driveway is poured. He has a big job ahead of him! He thought that our boulders were so big that he might have to break them apart to get them moved. We are hoping to keep some, as is, for hardscape. We'll see!
Friday was a busy day for us. We also ordered our refrigerator. It will arrive on the 25th, just in time for move-in day (hopefully)! It's a Kenmore and will match the double wall ovens. We noticed while checking out appliances that not all stainless steel is the same color. I've heard that the companies do this so that you will stay loyal to them and continue to buy their brand. Who knows! The only appliances that I needed to be consistent on were the wall ovens and refrigerator because you can see them both at the same time. I'm excited to have this refrigerator. The one we have been using in our rent house is like an apartment size fridge.I am almost taller than it (and I'm 5' 4"!) It has kept our food cold and we have managed just fine with it.

In a way I can't wait for the end of the month to get here, but at the same time I know we have so much to do in the next 3 weeks. Why someone would build more than once, I haven't figured out yet.
