Picking Apples!

We take our children to pick pumpkins every year, but have never taken them to pick apples. Daddy had to work late and the weather was beautiful, so the kids and I went apple picking. It was so much fun!

B picked and picked and picked and dropped and dropped and dropped apples the whole time we were there. Sissy about had two accidents tripping over all the apples on the ground.
While we were there I chose some beautiful pumpkins and gourds for table centerpieces. When we got home, we made homemade applesauce and an apple cobbler! The kids had a blast- another fun memory embedded into our hearts and minds.

Disney LIVE!

I loved Disney movies when I was a child and my children have seen a few of the classics. When Disney Live came to our state, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take them! (J, G, and I went to Disney Live when G was 2 1/2 and we loved it.)

My mother-in-law, the kids, and I loaded up for the weekend and met my husband's aunt and cousins. The kids did a little singing and dancing and had the best time!


It brought back lots of memories for me....Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorites! Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a little creepy for B. The lighting and sound was great, but made him a tad nervous.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and look forward to the next Disney trip!
