Bayler turned 4 today. We had Nana, Papa, Yaya, and Pop over to celebrate. Daddy was out of state with work. We opened presents and had pizza and cake. It was pretty low-key, but he already had his big pirate party almost 2 weeks ago. B loved all his presents- an Earnhardt car from Pop, crocs from Nana and Papa, and a basketball game from Mom and Dad.
Janice, the kids, and I went to a play tonight. It was The Wizard of Oz and it was soooo good. I was a little worried that Bayler wouldn't stay interested, but he was hooked the whole time. Lots of singing and dancing and flying in the air....thanks Yaya for a fun evening.
Grasen had a great season in softball and finished it up with an all-star game. They finished 1st in regular season play and won the all star game. We loved her coaches this year, one of them being her daddy. We plan to coach with Thomas and Amy again. They are loving toward the girls and want them to have fun, while still teaching them the game.
We have several months to rest up and then it's time to start practicing on a pitching machine. That is where we will be next season!
I am so blessed to have an incredible husband who is a wonderful father to my children. I also have a wonderful daddy myself and a father-in-law who treats me like his own daughter. Very thankful for all three of these men in my life.
We celebrated Bayler's 4th birthday today with family and friends. We chose a pirate theme this year and rented a bounce house. The kids had a lot of fun together. We ate hot dogs, potato salad, fruit, and chips. Bayler was very excited to get a blue jeep from us and his grandparents. He's been asking for a car for at least a year and has been counting down the days until his birthday.
Grasen decided tonight that she wanted the training wheels taken off of her bike. As soon as daddy got home from running errands he took them off and taught her to ride a two wheeler in the front yard. They went back and forth a few times in the yard and that was it! She was a pro!
I've been married to my best friend and high school sweetheart for 8 years. He is a high school principal currently pursuing a specialist degree to become a superintendent and he's also the drummer of a band. I am a kindergarten teacher, a house enthusiast, magazine lover, enjoy cooking and baking, crazy about organization, and love all things girly. Jordan and I have two precious children. Grasen is our little princess and is 6 years old. Bayler is our 3 year old ham and is ALL boy. We love The Lord and hope that He is glorified in all we do.
