100th day of school

Today was the 100th day of school, which is a huge celebration when you're in the elementary grades.

We get to walk through a big 100 to get to our classrooms, participate in fun activities that are all centered around the number 100, and eat fun snacks!

Grasen and her friend, eating their 100 day trail mix.

The kids are thinking 100 days smarter....teachers are thinking 78 days left! ;)

Surprise Snow!

Snow started falling unexpectedly today. My students were at their activity, so I was able to run outside and snap a couple pictures of Grasen and some of her little friends playing in the snow.

When I first walked outside she was on the concrete making a snow angel. Ha!

We were for sure they were going to let school out because it was getting dangerous on the roads, but our temps were suppose to increase. Our superintendent thought it would be safer for us to stay in school the rest of the day and let the snow melt off. It worked out well.

New Years!

The kids and I celebrated 2013 with our friends. Jordan had to ring in the new year playing drums for a charity dance.

The kids toasted with cookies and milk and had fun in the photo booth.

We are thankful for all of our blessings in 2012 and pray that this new year is full of love, growth, and new adventures for our family.
