Grasen lately

Grasen has been one busy little girl. She has been working hard reading her books every night with Mom and Dad and taking tests at school to increase her accelerated reader points. Her last reward this year included a kids' meal for lunch! She chose a cheeseburger and french fries! I was happy to be able to snap a picture before picking up my students from their activity- the perks of teaching!

Her kindergarten music program was April 23rd and it was adorable! She and Ty made sure to get a picture together after the program. They are buddies.

Grasen participated in a reading fundraiser for school and got first place in her class and second place in kindergarten. She brought a bunch of books home as her prize!

She was in the middle of softball season, first year for coach pitch, when I noticed she could probably use a larger glove. We went to Academy and picked out a good one together. It's a Louisville, but still a little girly. I put her first tball glove in her "tub of memories". Ha.

Grasen attended her first friend from school birthday party this month. It was a tie dye party and she had a lot of fun. For her first time tie dying her shirt turned out really cool! The directions said that if you want your shirt to have vibrant colors let it soak a little longer. I didn't wash it until the next day and the colors are perfect.

The older she gets, the busier mom gets....I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
