Cake Decorating Party

Grasen turned 7 on the 23rd. We celebrated today with some family and her little friends from school. Each of the girls decorated a little 6" cake to take home. I had so much fun pulling this party together and even more fun watching the girls have a blast icing their cakes in their aprons and hats.


They were so quiet and focused the whole time. I'm so happy that Grasen had a fun time with her friends. That is all this Mommy wanted.

The Tooth Fairy Visits

Grasen lost her first tooth today, bottom left. It has been loose for probably 6 months. She didn't wiggle it very much and the new tooth was already working its' way up.

We stayed home from church this morning because she was sick and then it was time to pull this tooth, poor girl. She did it all by herself.















She put the tooth in her tooth fairy pillow that Mrs. Muncy gave me at my school baby shower. Her husband is a dentist. Grasen also put a note in there for the tooth fairy, asking to please let her keep her first tooth. ;)

Grasen's birthday

Grasen got a lot of birthday phone calls this morning and then stood in front of the scrolling marquee at school so I could get a picture with her birthday message.





After school we went to a neighboring city for pizza, go carts, and arcade games. We had a lot of fun and it was a great way to end the first week of school!



When we got home that night we gave her a present and Jordan gave her his Precious Moments Bible from when he was little.





Hard to believe we already have a 7 year old!

First day of school

Today was the first day of first grade for Grasen and the first day of pre-k for Bayler. They were both very excited to start back to school. I am so blessed that my kiddos love school and learning. We were pulling out of the driveway by 6:58. Phew.













The first day was successful. Everyone had a great day and plans to go back tomorrow. ;)

First Grade Open House

Grasen had her open house tonight and she was excited about seeing her new classroom, as well as her friends from last year. She put up all her supplies, hugged a few friends, and we were finished. I think she is going to have a fantastic year!
