I need to clear some random pictures off of my phone ;)
This was one Friday night at home. I took the kids to the grocery store after school and we got some ingredients to make home made pizza. They really enjoyed making it and it was really good. It will be a staple in our home now!
Both G and B have had a blast at their games so far this season. I think it's safe to say mom, dad, nana, papa, yaya, and pop have enjoyed it a little too!
We went to cousin Leslie's birthday lunch in March and had a lot of fun. We enjoyed a yummy Italian lunch and then Bayler and the women walked around the outdoor outlets. The fire engine always makes the shopping trip better for B. Grasen went with cousin Paige to Leslie's house and danced her heart out for hours.
Mom texted me one morning that Bayler had thrown up at school. I went to get him and he hadn't taken his school pictures yet, so he did that and then we went home. He got sick once more and then felt better.
Bayler had superhero day at school in April. He hadn't really made it to that phase yet...he is in the 4 and 5 year old class because of academics, but he's still into cars and not really superheros. Needless to say, I didn't have anything for him. I found him a cape and mask at walmart and ironed on his name. Worked in a pinch!
We do not have a kindergarten graduation ceremony at our primary school, but we do cap and gown pictures and send home a nice diploma at the end of the year. When I got her pictures back, my mind flashed forward about 11 years...high school graduation will be here in the blink of an eye.
Bayler made a lot of new friends this year. This was his first year of preschool and he has really enjoyed it.
Miss Sam is closing her children's boutique, so while mommy shopped the B's entertained the kiddos. This picture is very special to me. Miss Sam watched Jordan and Nathan when they were babies. When Jordan and I were dating I watched the B's for several years. And now the oldest, Brittany, keeps my children when I need her to. It only makes sense that Grasen will one day be the babysitter of the B's children. ;)
The Friday before Mother's Day, Bayler's preschool class hosted a Mother's Day breakfast for the students' moms. It was super nice- bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, juice...they went all out. I had a volunteer cover my classroom so I could eat with Bayler and it was so fun! That is one reason I love his preschool- they go out of their way to make things special, not just for the students but for their families.
